So your wondering what was Kylie Minogue was wearing for the Queens Diamond Jubilee? The answer is a style of clothing called Pearlies. Pearly gear is worn by Cockneys in festive mood, costumes with
distinctive patterns of mother-of-pearl buttons. Remember that scene from Mary Poppins with the cartoon band. They were a Pearlie band or other wise know for their Cockney style.
I'm predicting this will be huge as studs are fade out. Summer is hot this year with bejeweled denim shorts so why not give this look a trial run.
