I'm addicted to jeggings

I am so in love with this new pair of jeggings I picked up at Target.
Mossimo Women's Denim Jegging $24.99

I have the hardest time finding jeans that fit me right and that don't break the bank. I have skinny legs and a tush. So I find that what fits me in the legs is to small in the waist and vise versa. Jeggings just fit me right. I have spent good money and been disappointed but Target is Da Bomb when it comes to making me feel like a million dollars!!!!

I bought the jeans in size 6 and they fit like a glove not to tight and slim through the legs. They are a little long but rolled up with sneeks and they look street styled. I could hem them but add in a pair of heels and my legs will look a mile long.

I'm telling , yourself a pair and see the difference great fitting jeans can make.
Outfit for fall: Long FP henley, fur vest, jeggings and studded Moto boots by ASH.

Gotta skate ( AKA gotta dance, Gene Kelly )

Skate shop Momma, Dadda Ollie and Little trucks.

When I met my Husband I was wearing a Thrasher Magazine T and skidz shorts. I was a skater girl for all it was worth. I hung out at skate shops and rode in the streets. Husband would skate over to my house from 5 miles away, wore Chucks and backwards hats. He was cool and I fell in love.
He can still skate, although we are way more cautious and it's still hot. Our little boy has taken a liking to skating too. It's in his blood to be fearless ( Dadda's side ) and he looks cute doing it ( Momma's side ). So we are hitting up the streets and having fun.

The family needs to sk8 and the winter is coming so it just has to be.

Missoni for Target major hit!

Selling out with in a couple hours the Missoni line at target hit the mark.
Crashing Target's website this has to be the best selling designer line Target has carried.

If you did not get a chance to grab some amazing swag, rumor has it that pieces will be coming in on trucks filling in the racks daily. They never know what they are getting but with a line this hot you know they will want to feed the need.

I Love Music, Yo Gabba Gabba Style

I am beyond excited for the 3rd volume of Yo Gabba Gabba Music is awesome album.
We as a family began watching the show when my son was born. I guess we were more into it then he was but now at 3 he loves singing along and having living room dance parties.

Great bands like Devo, Flaming Lips, Wierd Al and The Post Marks are just a few of the names lending their song styling to the 3rd album.
If you have not herd of these bands before, fear not. One walk through an Urban Outfitters and you will get it.
Its poppy, fun, inspiring and best of all I can listen to the cd's over and over with or without my kid in the car.

Download the albums at Itunes and dance!!!!

Camelot Remembered

58 years ago Jackie Kennedy made fashion history. Although her marriage ended with tragedy and was tainted by scandal, her wedding day was picture perfect.
Celebrate every day with the ones you love. Weddings are only for the day but marriage is life long.

"Jacqueline Lee Bouvier and John F. Kennedy were married on the morning of September 12, 1953, in the picturesque St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Newport, Rhode Island. The more than eight hundred guests included many notable individuals."

The bride "wore a dress of ivory tissue silk, with a portrait neckline, fitted bodice, and a bouffant skirt embellished with bands of more than fifty yards of flounces. Her rosepoint lace veil, worn first by her grandmother Lee, was draped from a tiara of lace and orange blossoms. Jacqueline wore a choker of pearls and a diamond bracelet that was a gift from the groom. The bride’s bouquet was of pink and white spray orchids and gardenias. Her attendants, dressed in pink taffeta."

He's 3 its ok!!!

So I have these moments every now an then that I'm not doing enough for my child. Like most Mom's I worry about his future and what he will become, rather then focusing on who he is now. He is turning 3 in like 2 weeks and his speech is a little behind but he is fearless, has an amazing imagination, plays like Pele and sings like a free bird. So I ask myself why am I letting other voices tell me how to be a Mom and what I'm not doing right by him.

Today was one of those days when I just felt like telling people its ok, he's 3. Harvard is a long way off......So I'm not gonna stress about him not formulating perfect conceptualized sentences. He's 3 its OK!!!!

We have gotten to this point in society where we stress our kids out because they need to be prepared. We test them, tally up their scores and then define who they are by the time they are 6. I mean really. What happened to kids being kids. They will have many years in the future to be stressed out adults so why am I gonna force the child out of him now. When he is ready he will be ready.

4 weeks ago we started potty training. He has been a piss wiz from the moment he started. He just just gets it. He was ready to move on to the next stage and in 1 week had the whole thing figured out. So its this that I take from that, when he is ready to tell me whats on his mind its gonna be awesome. He will be ready and there won't be any stopping him.

So .... please stop telling me he needs this and that when what he needs is time and for a kid that's more important then a high score on Mcats. Let the kids be kids all the other stuff will happen when they are ready for it.

Butter London oh so Yummy

Butter London is a brand I can get behind.

As a women and a Mom I think its really important to use products that are good for our bodies.
During the Independent Fashion Bloggers event I received a sample of Butter London.
I was intrigued by the color named Yummy Mummy, oh so perfect for Ksaintp.
Better then that its like a sexy nude which is perfect for the season and for the Mom who wants to go a few days with out constant touch-ups.
It goes on thick and turns shinny when it dries.

Color names are trendy and sweet, such as "No More Waity, Katie, Cheeky Chops, Diamond Geezer and Tea with the Queen. Prices start around $14.00 and the color pallet simple artful.

The brands focus is on 3 free nail lacquer = no formaldehyde, toluene and DBP's.
"Its color not carcinogens"

"butter LONDON Authenticity and why fashion designers love our lacquer
Nonie Creme, Founding Creative Director of butter LONDON, has been a backstage fixture at Fashion Week her entire career. She has longstanding relationships with designers who love butter LONDON for the authenticity of the experience. Nonie and the designers sit together, discuss the designer’s muse, look at the collection, and arrive at a bespoke colour just for them. Nails are a fashion accessory and can have a huge impact on an outfit, so getting them right is crucial. It’s a unique process, and ensures that the designers have creative input and control over their catwalk beauty look, which is incredibly important." http://www.butterlondon.com/about

Fashion Night Out!!

Grab your girlfriends and head out for the night!
Its Fashion Night Out in NYC.

Here are a list of places and parties to attend and feel fabulous xoxo

http://fashionsnightout.com/

Retweeted: http://www.stylecaster.com/fashion/15267/ten-stops-make-in-nyc-on-fashions-night-out

The list of retailers joining in on the FNO shenanigans throughout NYC this year is expansive to say the least. Leave it to Anna to get everyone and their mother on board for her special night. As overwhelming as it all may seem, the worst thing you can do is go into it all without a plan - let's get real, this tiny island is probably going to be overflowing with an unprecedented amount of fashion kids and freeloaders alike, so getting around is going to be extra difficult.

We've already done the dirty work for you and filtered through the endless lists of parties, celebrity appearances, musical performances and freebies to narrow it down to the ten can't-miss FNO events in the city for September 8th, 2011 - read below to get all of the details:

1. Rebecca Minkoff and The Man Repeller Host a Braid Bar at Saks. Make this the first stop on your list, kids. Get your hair did with our favorite handbag designer and arm party/prosciutto short wearing blogger. The braids will be given an edge with Rebecca Minkoff's leather strips, but be sure to get there early - no doubt girls will be lining up to get their hair styled for the big night. 611 Fifth Avenue 5th floor, 6-8pm

2. Get Jamming At AllSaints While Enjoying a Sweet Discount. The downtown Brit brand will be hosting musical guests at both of their locations with performances by The Pierces at their SoHo flagship and by Penguin Prison in the Meatpacking District. While we're all for rocking out, some serious multi-tasking will also be going on, seeing as we're going to have to take advantage of that 20% discount. 512 Broadway and 411-417 West 13th Street

3. Trust Your Senses at DVF. We're not exactly sure what this might entail, but whatever DVF says, goes. We'll definitely be tapping into one of the five senses (taste, duh) as we enjoy complementary hors d'oeuvres and what are sure to be killer cocktails by SVEDKA vodka. On top of this, there will also be an interactive flip book photo booth to practice our posing, a fragrance sampling station to get our scent on and an exclusive performance by R&B star, Estelle. Oh, now we get it, that was taste, sight, sound, smell... but what about touch? Perhaps that's supposed to happen when we're grabbing at all of the pretty dresses we want to try on. 874 Washington Street

4. DKNY Brings the Best of New York. Did you miss the crazy-adorable documentary that was Bill Cunningham New York? Don't worry, DKNY's got you covered. Any shoppers who make a purchase of $250 or more will get a free copy of the DVD and a limited edition tote bag to go along with it - not a bad deal. But wait, it gets better. While shopping, you will be assisted by some of the most stylish New Yorkers in the city, as the winners from the brand's "Something New York" contest, which was featured on StyleCaster, will be there all night to offer up their fashion and style advice. Don't forget to bring your BF's to this one too, ladies - the guys from the Blind Barber are transforming the men's floor into their speak-easy slash barber shop to give out complimentary haircuts and shaves. To top it all off, there will be free beer, free popcorn and a chance for you to win tickets to the upcoming Resort 2012 fashion show. 655 Madison Avenue

5. Prada Partners With Vogue and Gets Artsy. At its 5th Avenue location, Prada will be recreating a mod editorial from the September issue of Vogue (guessing it's that really awesome one with Natalia Vodianova getting all 60's and romantic on the beach?) curated by Grace Coddington herself. Seeing Grace's work up close and personal like that seems like it has the potential to be pretty fascinating. Equally as mysterious and intriguing, anyone who purchases the Prada Candy fragrance will be receiving a "special pouch". 724 Fifth Avenue

6. Marc Jacobs Steps Out With One of Our Favorite Style Stars. Naturally, Marc Jacobs will be taking over Bleecker street this year with a carnival-themed celebration. We, however, plan on heading over to the SoHo store for the ultimate celebrity sighting: Dakota Fanning will be there with Marc himself to promote their collaboration on his Oh, Lola! fragrance - Dakota starred in the campaign - giving away tote bags to those who purchase the scent. We're already having too much fun speculating what she'll be wearing... 163 Mercer Street

7. Double the Fun At Alice + Olivia. Speaking of carnivals, we'll be channeling our inner-child at either of Stacey Bendet's bashes, which will be held at both the Bryant Park and Madison Avenue boutiques, for a night of whimsy that includes sno-cones, cotton candy, carnival games and raffles. Not to mention, our pals from Sebastian will be there to give guests colorful hair extensions. Stacey, you had us at sno-cone. 755 Madison Avenue and 80 West 40th Street

8. Teen Vogue's Bleecker Street Bash. The magazine will be hosting another block party on Bleecker Street this year and it seems like it's going to be the best yet. Freebies include AriZona Iced Tea smoothies and popsicles as well as manicures by famed nail polish brand, Essie. Vans will also be selling limited-edition sneaks designed by the oh so stylish Teen Vogue editors. The best part? One of our previously featured StyleCaster stars, the Electro Pop singing Sky Ferreira, will be performing. Bleecker Street at West 11th Street, 6pm

9. For Those Who Want to Go Low-Key, Head to Helmut Lang. Chow down on some Luke's Lobster Truck and sip drinks from Death and Company while watching a live performance by Best Coast to celebrate the launch of Helmut Lang's ecommerce site - need we say more? 93 Mercer Street

10. Bergdorf Goodman, Your One Stop Shop. The gigantic department store will be hosting an all-out extravaganza for FNO starting at 3 p.m. with complementary beauty services to get ready for the night. After you get all dolled up, don't forget to have Oscar de la Renta sign a copy of his "Face of Fashion" fall beauty palette. Then, head on out to the windows to kick off the night with Linda Fargo and Michael Kors. From 7 p.m. onward the store's schedule is chock-full of events including tarot card readings on 5F, performances by The Blue Vipers and Audrianna Cole, a cat/dog show featuring the furry friends of like the likes of Joseph Altuzarra and Reem Acra, a Jason Wu doll signing and many more fun, fashion-filled activities. 745 Fifth Avenue

Fashionable and child bareing

Being at todays blogging event reminded me of why I stared blogging in the 1st place. I began this journey over 2 & 1/2 years ago. I was a new mom and feeling completely alone. Now I'm working in a field I love, I have a healthy family and I am able to see how what I went through can help someone else.I meet some amazing bloggers today who were moms too. They inspired me to reach out and tell you I am still here and I am still working on me.
If you ever felt alone and lost, let me tell you even super mom has her bad days.
I will be retooling my blog to give Mom's back their cool. Stayed tuned for advise, style and fun how to's.
Remember just cause your a Mom doesn't mean you can't still be you!!!
