MY FAIR LADY - North Shore Music Theatre (2011)



Run, don't walk to purchase your tickets for Bill Hanney's North Shore Music Theater performance of My Fair Lady.

Charles Shaughnessy as Professor Higgins is smart, quick and down right charmingly funny. He has a smooth sound to his voice that will quickly win you over. He plays this role with a sharp tongue and perfect timing. Lisa O'Hare (Eliza Doolittle) has a beautiful voice which is not to be out done by her picture perfect portrayal of such an iconic figure. You are in love with her from the moment her flowers get trodden in the mud to her magical transformation into a lady fit for a king.

The ensemble cast is full of very talented individuals, who carry you through the story with big beautiful dance numbers, funny dialog and wonderful songs. They put their heart and soul into each scene every night without fail!!!!

Charles Repole (Director) and Michael Lichtefeld (Choreographer) have to be so proud of the work they created and the talent that puts a great show on every night. Their vision for this show is fully realized and lush in character. Craig Barna, is a master conductor weaving each moment together with the flick of his wand.
With the amazing talents of Gail Baldoni (Costume Designer) Howard C. Jones ( Scenic Designer) , Jack Mehler (Lighting Designer) and James R. McCartney (Sound Design) this production comes off effortlessly and picture perfect.

Come and see for yourself the beauty that is My Fair Lady and walk away with an appreciation for musical theater like never before.
